Welcome to the preschool club!
Looking for a more structured, part-time learning program for your Toddler or Preschooler?
The SCC preschool program is designed to provide an enriching educational environment so that children can transition into the next stage of their education equipped with essential learning tools and skills.
The Preschool Club provides a high quality half-day preschool for children aged 2.5-4 years in the Trinity Bellwoods community. SCC follows guidelines in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Toronto Public Health in order to offer the highest quality of enriching care.
Teacher
Our instructor, with over 18 years of experience as an RECE, is dedicated to uphold a warm and accepting environment where children can develop socially, creatively, physically and intellectually as individuals.
What to expect
Each day in class, your child will have opportunities to participate in:
- Guided group activities
- Gross motor/active play
- Outdoor play
- Snack (provided by SCC)
- Social experiences
- Creative experiences
- Free play with holistic enrichment activities
- Child-led experiences
- Literacy activities
- Lunch (provided by the family)

Where
A self contained unit on Bellwoods Avenue (just east of Trinity Bellwoods Park). The classroom is paired with a beautiful and private fenced outdoor space.

Program plans are prepared weekly by the teacher and posted on the parent board. Activity plans, photos and videos are also shared weekly to update individual families about their child's weekly progress.
No. Children are encouraged to try toileting with their peers, but it is not a requirement.
Upon enrolment, parents will be asked to provide all necessary information regarding allergies, sensitivities and any other special needs or requests. The program will accommodate all individual needs and special requests in order to keep all children and families safe.
